Enrolment and withdrawal

    Enrolment is binding.

  2. 02

    Withdrawal up to 7 days before the course begins / the agreed start of the lesson pass is free of charge.

  3. 03

    After that an administrative fee of CHF 70 is charged. (Exception: the participant provides a replacement person)

Running of the courses

If there are not enough participants, AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK reserves the right to cancel a course or a workshop.

Conditions for missed classes

For course passes:

Classes not attended, cancelled at the latest 60 minutes before the class, can, by arrangement with AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK:

  • be made up within the same course period in alternative classes (that is, classes of other courses).
  • be made up in the following course period(s) in alternative classes, if this course period (these course periods) was (were) regularly paid for by the participant.
  • If the following course period(s) was (were) not regularly paid for by the participant, classes not attended in the previous period cannot be made up in the following course period(s): they expire.

Because AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK has provided the service of the corresponding class(es) and has no way of influencing whether participants appear or are absent, a course fee for classes not attended CANNOT BE REFUNDED.

In the case of an unexcused absence THE CLASS EXPIRES and making it up is no longer possible.

For lesson passes:

  • Not taken during the term of the pass, or
  • 2. Registered during the term of the pass but not attended, with cancellation at the latest 60 minutes before the class

can, by arrangement with AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK:

  • be made up within the period of validity of the pass in all course classes.
  • be made up in the following lesson pass(es) in all course classes, if the lesson pass follows on immediately (in each case) from the expiring pass and is paid for regularly.
  • Otherwise, classes not taken, as well as classes registered for and not attended, of the lesson pass cannot be made up after the term has ended: they expire.

Because AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK has provided the service of the corresponding class(es) and has no way of influencing whether participants appear or are absent, a course fee for classes not attended CANNOT BE REFUNDED.

In the case of an unexcused absence THE CLASS EXPIRES and making it up is no longer possible.

Workshops

For workshops, the costs and conditions (cancellation conditions, etc.) of the respective specific announcement apply, at www.afrocubanbodywork.ch/workshops.

Liability

Warming up the body before the course is the participants' own responsibility.

AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK accepts no liability for injury / accident.

AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK accepts no liability for theft / loss of personal belongings during the courses.

Insurance

All insurance is the participants' own responsibility.

Use of photo and video recordings

AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK produces photo and video material during the courses and workshops. AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK uses this to advertise its offer on an ongoing basis on various channels (website, newsletter, social media accounts, various portals such as www.salsa.ch etc.). If participants do not agree to the use of recordings of them, this is to be communicated to Ana Belkis Zamora before recordings are made, so that the recordings can be made without that person. Without such notice, AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK assumes that the participants assign the rights for the use of the images and videos on various channels to AFRO CUBAN BODY WORK.
